Overview
The Rochford KFC restaurant, drive-thru and office is the first development we undertook with our partner. The popular site is situated on our Toomey Motor Group Village at Cherry Orchard Way, Rochford. The site is approximately half an acre in size and forms part of the business park alongside a number of car dealerships and a petrol filling station.
The building consists of two storeys, with the ground floor housing the restaurant and drive thru. The first floor provides office space which is currently used as the head office of regional KFC franchise. Externally, to complement the restaurant and drive-thru, there is generous parking with provision for motorcycles and bicycles. It was anticipated that the development would create up to 52 jobs. The property is operated by franchise on a long term basis.
George Martin, alongside their professional team, designed and built the shell and core with the restaurant Partner completing the internal fit out. The project was completed by George Martin in April 2016.
Since completing the Rochford KFC project, we have worked with our Partner to build an additional two restaurants. These restaurants are located in Laindon and South Woodham Ferrers.
