George Martin lead the design team to provide expert design advice before overseeing the development with a site based Project Manager. A local Main Contractor was appointed and oversaw the construction phase using mostly local subcontractors. In all, the construction phase took a little under 12 months. As with other local properties developed by the client, the houses are uniquely designed with large Dutch gables, distinctive stone work and buff bricks and benefit from modern, stylish interior design. Within a private road, off-road parking provides each property with generous parking provision not often found on new build development.

With properties located within a short walking distance of Laindon Station, offering an easy commute to London Fenchurch Street, the employment of a local agent ensured the properties were sold swiftly after marketing.

The client retained a number of properties which George Martin manage in conjunction with a local letting agent.

The client fulfilled the ambition to provide local, quality housing, built using local contractors and suppliers to the benefit of the community. The next phase of development on the site will provide further residential and commercial opportunities.
